Posh cushions!

I received this gorgeous fabric from my Step Mam recently and knew straight away I would use them in my [purple and cream] living room!


I really enjoyed working with the sumptious fabric and Im thrilled with how my first go at using the beaded trim worked

The Archie Cushion

I have a little Westie dog called Archie so when I saw this fabric on ebay HAD to buy a bit to make a cushion


Isnt it lurverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrly (the fabric i mean not my cushion!!) (although it is!)

My attempt at a roller blind!!

I already had a roller blind here so I simply removed the previous fabric, measured and cut my chosen fabric (Globaltex, Rosanna), hemmed the sides and created a sewn channel at the bottom to take the roller blind rod!


Ta-da!

Pretty iPad cover

I love my iPad almost as much as my kids and definitely more than my husband so thought it deserved a lovely, pretty cover!

I made a zipped Cicero lined with fleece and included reinforcement with fabric covered stiff cardboard for the iPad to slip in between

I love it!

My latest cushion!

Made this one with pink fleece and used navy blue ribbon for the ties! I appliqued a heart out of cupcake fabric, my appliqué stitch is improving :)

I made another dress!

This one started as a pillowcase!! I got the pattern from prudent baby blog online :)

My other sewing creations i am very pleased with all them but I cant wait to make another giant strawberry, Rebecca and I bought some gorgeous fabric yesterday so we have lots of ideas to be trying out.

My first attempt at a memory cushion

I am soooooo pleased with this it has my daughters initial on and the patches are made from my favourite items of her baby clothes! I plan to make many more so watch this space!

Fabric shopping!!!!!

We went to a couple of fab fabric shops today, got loads of lovely stuff and spotted lots of absolutely beautiful stuff that will be purchased on our next trip!

My first ever cushion!!!

Amy got this lovely fabric for a bargain price and let me pinch some as it is a perfect match for my kitchen!!

I followed a tutorial online to make a cushion with pillowcase closure and added the ties myself so I can tie it to my kitchen chair!

I'm well chuffed
with how good it has turned out!

I love this idea! they are toys made from childrens drawings and are not difficult at all and seeing as my daughter draws a fab penguin I think I might give it a go!?!?

Bright Envelope Cushions

I am just about to try and make my first ever cushion! Have been looking online and came across these, aren't they lovely, especially like the one with four cute bows on.

Maybe if I can get the hang of these plain cushions I'm doing I might give one a go!
